League Pass game of the day: Magic vs. Clippers (10:30 ET)

Here are five things to know before watching these defensive-minded teams face off in the final matchup of Wednesday (10:30 p.m. ET, League Pass).
1. Orlando looks outstanding: The Magic enter Tuesday’s matchup vs. Clippers on a season-best six-game win streak. They’ve been dominant in that stretch, winning five of those by double-digit margins. They beat the Indiana Pacers, Philadelphia 76ers and Phoenix Suns in their last three games.
2. Clippers are above .500: The Clippers started slowly, but won two straight and six of their last nine games in total. Norman Powell has been the big surprise, averaging 23.3 points per game.
3. Franz Wagner is taking over: Wanger has stepped up during Paolo Banchero’s (oblique) absence. Wagner has scored at least 27 points in six of his last seven outings, averaging 28.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game in that span.
4. Defensive battle: The Magic have quietly become one of the best defensive teams over the last few years. They rank second in defensive efficiency while allowing the fewest points in the NBA this season. The Clippers aren’t far behind, ranking sixth in defensive efficiency and fourth in points allowed.
5. History on Clippers side: The Clippers swept their season series over the Magic in 2023-25 and have won 18 of their last 21 games in this head-to-head series dating back to 2014.
